Loose Tour Dates
Apparently when you release an album, by law, you have to play the songs live, to prove that it was in fact you who played on the album. So, being the compliant and law-abiding indie-rockers we are, this is exactly what we shall do.on September 17th, 2010
Band with songs seeks fans with brains
Losers, winners, grinners and boozers. Allow me to skip, hop, dodge and weave through a sleeve of space-time and waste-time…yes, that’s right, I’m meant to be working, but instead, I’m doing this. The songs from the album keep coming.
This week, we give you Take it From Me…. a depressing tale of domesticity and getting on your partner’s nerves by…well, just by being you really. There is an awesome washing machine solo at the very end, courtesy of my old housemate Joanna. Nice spin cycle Jo!
As well as that, please enjoy the title track from Loose Manifesto. This little diatribe includes Ben Chamie on lead megaphone. Let’s just say he’s got a couple of things he’d like to get off his chest.
For previous week’s songs, scroll down, or head over to our facebook or myspace sites to ge the full list in its correct order. We’ll keep adding these until the album’s release on October 1.on September 15th, 2010
I wanna be a part of it, New Songs, New Sooooooongs (sung to the tune of New York New York, you idiot!)
As promised, here are some more new tracks from the forthcoming album, Loose Manifesto. We’ll keep up this fanfare until you have the entire shebang available for streaming. They are being inserted into order as per the album’s track listing.
This week’s songs are Choking and Mirror Mirror. A short punk song and a long dance song. Slap yourself silly.
In other news, this has possibly been the most boring band news/update since that now legendary Dappled Cities tweet, “just played a song….about to play another one”. Tsk tsk Dappled, tsk tsk Peabody. Enjoy the songs…or use them to stir your coffee.on September 9th, 2010
